Today, December 10, the International Day for the Defense of Human Rights is celebrated all over the world.
This date was introduced by the UN General Assembly in honor of the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. The Declaration was the first document to formulate the provisions on human rights.
Man, his life and dignity, rights and freedoms are recognized as the highest value of each state. It is proclaimed that all people are equal in their dignity and rights. Human rights and freedoms are inviolable. They belong to every person from birth and throughout life, do not depend on the will of the state, are not granted and can not be canceled.
I sincerely wish that in our country we lived safely so that we would feel cared and secure, and that the rights and freedoms of each citizen were inviolable!

Symbolically, today we continue to be engaged in the protection of human rights in the penitentiary system. Where on the one hand are convicted, on the other – employees of penitentiary institutions. The working group went to Cherkassy Provincial Police Department and will begin inspections at 12:00.
