The exchange of experience of European trade unions is very important for Ukraine!

This was emphasized by the People’s Deputy of Ukraine Yuriy Miroshnychenko at a meeting with members of the European Confederation of Trade Unions, which took place in the Verkhovna Rada on February 14, 2019.

The parliamentarian said that in Ukraine at the legislative level in general, European standards for guaranteeing the activities of trade unions have been respected, but the experience of the western neighbors in implementing these rights is very valuable for Ukrainians.

“Given that members of the European Confederation of Trade Unions represent representatives of trade unions in Poland, the Czech Republic and other countries where Ukrainian labor migrants work, I would like to ask them to intensify educational work for the purpose of Ukrainians joining local trade unions if local laws permit, to fully defend and represent the labor rights of Ukrainian citizens and to establish cooperation with diplomatic and consular institutions of Ukraine in your states “, – Yuriy Miroshnychenko emphasized in his speech.

The politician thanked the guests for a visit to Ukraine and for attention to the problems of Ukrainian labor migrants in Europe.

“I hope that what you have seen and heard in Ukraine will expand your experience and will be useful in further cooperation,” Yuri Miroshnychenko concluded.
